We hate generic stock photos. Because every hand-painted item has its own unique personality, we take individual photos of our pieces. The exact item you see on your screen is the exact one you’ll unwrap.

  • 🎨 Authentic & Small Batch

No mass-produced plastic here. We celebrate true artistry, splitting our time between curating vibrant, authentic imports from Mexico and hand-shaping our own custom Studio Originals on the molding table.

Meet the Pirate

How a simple question started a voyage.

My first summer running the shop, everyone who wandered in kept asking me the exact same question: “Did you make this pottery?”I got asked so many times that I finally decided to give them a real answer. I went home, mastered the art of traditional hollow pour slip casting, bought a massive kiln, and built a studio from scratch.

Today, I pour, glaze, and fire every single handmade piece myself. (And yes, I do plenty of heavy lifting behind the scenes to sling those 50-pound buckets of clay slip!)

Every Friday, I pack up the latest treasures from my mainland studio and boat them over to Kelleys Island just for the weekend crew.

From my signature dapper sheet ghosts to Pigsly, our official studio mascot, everything here is crafted with a little grit, a lot of passion, and a healthy dose of pirate spirit.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.
